Easy Care Tips for Your Fine OneidaŽ Stainless

Before using your OneidaŽ stainless for the first time, we recommend that you wash it thoroughly in your dishwasher or by hand. To keep it looking its best, we suggest the following tips:

In a Dishwasher:
Your OneidaŽ stainless is dishwasher safe and will resist stain. However, if any discoloration, soap film, or water spots(which are not defects) should develop (caused by hard water and/or citrus detergents), please use a stainless cleaner and follow instructions carefully.

By Hand:
Always use hot water and a mild non-citrus soap or detergent. Rinse in clean, hot water and dry promptly.

General Use & Care Information
Use mild powder detergents; avoid harsh detergents containing citrus as they can harm flatware surfaces. Avoid prolonged contact with harsh, acidic foods such as coffee, tea, salad dressings, salt, vinegar, and condiments. Wash your stainless as soon as possible after each meal to avoid discoloration, corroding, or pitting. Never let your flatware soak (even in plain water) or leave unwashed overnight.

Knife blades are particularly sensitive to acidic foods, soaking in water, and air-drying. Therefore, it is very important that you wash your knives properly after each use and dry immediately. Do not store in plastic or other wrappings that can trap moisture.

With just a little extra care, your OneidaŽ stainless flatware will give you years of enjoyment.
